Holiday Club

Feb 2019

This year Jamiatul Muminat conducted a holiday club for our little ones during the February half term break. We had a variety of activities, all hands on, and it was a tremendous success. Focusing on principles of tarbiyyah, our participants not only went home with their goodies, but with spiritual upliftment also. 

Alumni Reunion

With a number of graduates across the city, Jamiatul Muminat hosted an alumni reunion, bringing together years of old school memories. It was a fantastic opportunity to reminisce, and benefit from words of wisdom from our respected teachers. Held in our newly opened musallah hall, it was a meeting of minds with food anasheed. 

Fiqh of Fasting (off-site)

Our funeral rites workshop was conducted at Masjid Muadh bin Jabal, Leicester. With just over 30 attendees, we covered the main principles of what breaks the fast, and what does not break the fast. A powerpoint, worksheets, and engaging instructors made the whole workshop interactive and relatable. We also had an enlightening talk on the spirituality of Ramadhan delivered by our qualified graduates. 

Evening of Anasheed 

November 2017

 

"Such a blessed event, it felt amazing to be a part of it!" 
"It was beautiful from the anasheed to the dinner, to the volunteers. When are you having the next one?" 

 

An exclusive event available for 200 guests. The evening involved heartwarming anasheed performed by Sawtul Jameah. An event filled with spirituality and inspirational words. All guests and volunteers alike were left with the beautiful couplets of the anasheed ringing in their ears. The evening was concluded with a delightful three-course dinner. A fundraising event full of Iman boosters that will be cherished by all. 

The Hajj Seminar 

July 2017

 

A 2-day seminar to refresh the rituals of Hajj. The seminar was open to all sisters and was free of charge. We covered a detailed guide of what to do before one goes for Hajj, and then we studied the acts to be performed in the 5 days of Hajj. There was also a spiritual discourse outlining the etiquette of attending the city of Madinah. The seminar was concluded with a heart rendering Nasheed. 

 

Food Fest

July 2017

 

What better way to participate in this act of Sadaqatul Jariyah,  than by participating in the food fest! We had treats for young and old, as well as fun filled activities for the little ones. The BBQ was a huge success and was greatly appreciated by all in the community. Proceeds from this event, go towards the refurbishment of our new sister's campus.  

 

 

Graduation Ceremony for the Annual Completion of Sahih al-Bukhari

A noble occasion whereby our students bid farewell as they recite the final hadith of the famous Sahih al-Bukhari. An amazing event filled with reminders and deep reflection. This event was attended by thousands of sisters who wanted to participate in this blessed occasion. 

 

 

Ramadan Reflections 

June 2017

 

This workshop took place in our Leicester premises. A series of lectures designed to move and inspire. This year the tafsir of Surah Yasin was explored, hence establishing reminders which would be reinforced on a daily basis. Alhamdulillah, we received a great response from the community, and we pray that it was a means of guidance for all. May Allah reward the efforts of everyone who participated in the gatherings. Ameen.

This workshop took place in Kettering. An informative and educational event exclusive for sisters. Participants gained a sound knowledge of the topic of death, and the sunnah method of consoling the bereaved. There was also practical hands-on demonstrations under the guide of a knowledgeable instructor. Alhamdulillah, the event was an eye opener for the community. There was also practical hands-on demonstrations under the guide of a knowledgeable instructor. Alhamdulillah, the event was an eye opener for the community. The Platinum Fundraiser Dinner 

8th October 2016 

 

A community event which definitely brought together sisters from all walks of life, all for a single cause. Our aim was to raise proceeds towards our new  sisters campus. Alḥamdulillāh, through the barakah and generosity of all our contributors, we will now begin with phase I of our refurbishment project with classes for Darul Uloom, and our Ladies Mu'mināt classrooms. With your continuous support we will be able to further expand this project in the near future.

The Hajj Seminar

13th & 14th August 2016

 

A 2-day preparatory course for fellow pilgrims who are undertaking the journey of a lifetime. Covering the basics of the rites of Hajj, all the way to achieving sincerity and refining oneself spiritually on this blessed journey. Accompanied with practical demonstration, our attendees left with a much richer background of this fifth pillar of Islam.

Ramaḍān Reflections

An uplifting, spiritual event bringing together the Ilm and the practical aplications of Salāh, Saum, and Tahārah. 

The event concluded with a spiritual discourse of the tafsīr of the 29th Juz of the Noble Qur'ān, Surah Mulk; "the Sovereignty"

Evening of Anāsheed 

 Saturday 14th March 2015 
 

An uplifting, spiritual event which enlightented the hearts of hundreds who came to be a part of this unique gathering. An evening of inspirational anasheed presented by students of Jameah Darul Uloom, and Jameah Girls Academy.
